Addressing Hate Speech Through Strategic Branding. A Social Media Platform's Approach to Fostering Inclusivity and Acceptance
Tasked with designing a preventative approach to online hate speech through an AI-powered social media platform that prioritises user safety and positive interactions, For the People™ features S navigation enhanced by interactive elements that facilitate genuine connection while employing sophisticated AI content moderation algorithms and community reporting tools to create an inherently safer digital environment. The visual identity balances accessibility with engagement through carefully selected colour palettes and typography that promote inclusivity and positivity.

Rather than simply reacting to harmful content, this platform is built on prevention principles informed by GLAAD's LGBTQ Social Media Safety Program and Moira Walker's research on early intervention. What began as a traditional campaign concept evolved into this comprehensive platform that doesn't just change how people think about social issues but fundamentally transforms how they interact online by establishing protective guardrails while maintaining an enjoyable user experience.
